Spothentic was founded in response to a common problem faced by households: the difficulty of finding reliable, skilled, and vetted service providers. Too often, finding a plumber or mechanic involved relying on word-of-mouth recommendations with no guarantee of quality, safety, or fair pricing.
We realized that by building a centralized marketplace with in-app chat negotiation, identity vetting, and an escrow system, we could solve this problem for both sides—protecting customers from subpar work and protecting honest professionals from payment delays.
